This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
If you want to piss me off and get on my blocked list, the fastest way to do that is to criticize my models. I don't care if you leave comments saying you like my work, don't like it, pick apart my lighting, technique, backgrounds, etc. I can handle that, especially if it's constructive criticisms. But keep any negative comments about my subjects to yourself. For starters all my models model for prints. I can't afford to pay cash for pro models. Second, when a woman models she has to have a lot of confidence to put herself out there like that. Criticizing my models undermines that confidence and makes it harder for me to do the work that I display here. Thirdly I live in Saginaw, MI, not NYC, LA, or even Detroit. We're not even a tertiary market. We certainly don't have the ginormous talent pools of larger cities, and in some cases the models or I have driven hours to work together. Fourthly, I know these people. We've met at least once face to face, talked, and built a professional relationship. I don't know most people here, so who's side do you think I'll take? Finally, *ALL* the models I shoot are beautiful if you are open to seeing their beauty. Pointing out how one of my images doesn't meet *your* feminine ideal just makes me think you're an ass. Anyone leaving comments of this nature will be blocked immediately. I don't feel the need to give warnings or discuss the matter with the offender. Be respectful towards these beautiful women or be blocked!
I'm nostalgic for for a time period I didn't exist in. There's a certain strength in the expression and pose of a pinup, it's not authentically coy or bashful. A pinup does not negotiate its sensuality from a position of inequality. She's proud of her curves, fearless in her beauty, and having fun teasing her audience . That's what I want to photograph.
Get to know me quick likes and dislikes: I love: My wife and family Black and white film and prints Big negatives Lith printing (google it) Great lighting Fun, confident models Vintage and retro lingerie Vintage and retro outfits and props Military inspired pinups Miller Highlife or Guiness Jim Beam or Old Grandad 90's grunge or Classic Rock Strong, black coffee 2am Retro porn, it's seems cute by today's standards Vinyl albums and my iPod (GPS while were on gadgets)
I hate: Flaking, it takes my time away from my family, whom I love Trite or cheezy images Photographers that flake on TFCD images, it makes us all look bad Budweiser, it's dysentery in a bottle, can, or keg Rum or Tequila, highschool graduation ruined them forever 7am poopy diapers, seriously, they're gross yardwork tapes, audo or vhs, they were a technological low point
James:It's not the model or the location, but the talent and effort that carries the day.much of your work is good, even great. If I might suggest, the poses and lighting might need rethinking to improve the results.even the XL models have the ability and character to give wonderful photos. No ugly women here, just perhaps better shots. Best to you and all your models GFG
Came across your profile and saw that you're from Saginaw. I'm a Michigander, too! Not far from you, either... So hi, neighbor! I guess that's all I really wanted to say. Nice gallery.
